Corey Coston, Assistant Dean of Finance
Corey Coston brings a deep familiarity with the Honors College and the University of Arkansas to his position as assistant dean of finance. Coston participated in the Sam M. Walton College of Business honors program, graduating as a first-ranked Senior Scholar with a B.S.B.A. in accounting, summa cum laude, in 2006. He subsequently completed a Master of Accountancy at Walton College in 2007.
Coston worked as an internal auditor with Tyson Foods in Springdale for three years before returning to Walton College as a senior financial analyst in 2010. In just over a year he was promoted to director of accounting, charged with leading the college’s accounting center team. He also worked with the assistant dean of finance to prepare an annual budget and manage the college’s endowments and operating budget. In his current position, Coston oversees financial management for the college, including financial evaluation and reporting and ensuring efficient financial operations. Coston's downtime revolves around sleeping when his two young kids allow it, and the St. Louis Cardinals.
