Diarra Smith

Diarra loves being able to work with new undergraduates – the best part of her job is seeing these students grow as individuals and develop their passions. Plus she gets to create an enriching environment to ensure they have fun while they’re doing it!

Diarra graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2016, where she earned her B.A. in psychology with a minor in women’s studies. She is currently working toward an M.S. in counseling here at the University of Arkansas, and hopes to go into school counseling after graduation. She is from Memphis, Tennessee, and has a special place in her heart for Memphis-style barbecue beans. When she’s not studying, she unwinds by watching television, and spends much of her free time immersed in YouTube.
