Stephen Ritterbush, Director of Information Systems

 As director of information systems, Stephen Ritterbush is responsible for providing and analyzing data on the Honors College student population that will help in recruiting and retaining high-achieving students. He is also charged with writing, reviewing and editing computer system programs for application and review processes, among other initiatives. Ritterbush brings a broad skill set to his new position. He earned a bachelor of general studies with a focus in communication at Southeastern Louisiana University in 2008, where he worked in print, television and radio. He subsequently completed master’s degrees in business administration and information systems at the University of Arkansas. Currently he is pursuing a doctoral degree in educational statistics and research methods.

Prior to joining the Honors College staff, Ritterbush served as director of information systems for the College of Education and Health Professions. He is cofounder of Debt Gaming, LLC, which offers direct consultation services for online game database development, and served as vice president of communications for Silicon Solar Solutions, a local startup company that has won awards in numerous business plan competitions. In his spare time, Ritterbush enjoys mentoring entrepreneurs and developing ideas for new startups.
