Rani Achhireddy, Grants Manager

 Rani Achhireddy is the grants manager, charged with managing the research and study abroad grant application process. She will also conduct data research for the Honors College. Achhireddy brings a depth of experience to her position; as an undergraduate at the University of Arkansas, she was a Sturgis Fellow and National Merit Scholar, and she received an Honors College Study Abroad grant that supported a year of study in India and China. She earned her bachelor of arts degree, magna cum laude, with majors in anthropology and international relations and minors in Asian studies and political science, and also completed a master’s degree in higher education at the University of Arkansas. Her work experience includes five years of substitute teaching in the public schools of Broken Arrow, Okla., an internship with the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences Advising Center, and work with the Honors College and U of A admissions recruiting teams. Achhireddy says her most memorable experience as an undergraduate student was taking a field trip to Memphis and visiting Graceland with her H2P class.
