Honors College Best in Show Pet Event

Join the Honors College as we celebrate our furry friends with popsicles, water and
dog treats on Thursday, April 25 from 3-4PM in the Gearhart Courtyard. All on campus
and in the community are invited to attend. Attendees planning to bring a dog must
register to attend the event.
If you plan to bring your pup to campus, you must register in advance of the event; submissions will be accepted on the day of the event ONLY if you have the correct vaccination paperwork. Please note that you are required to show proof of current vaccination records at the time of registration, per university policy. Only one dog per person, please. If you do not have a UARK email address to register, please email tlmerrei@uark.edu . Proud dog parents may also enter their pups into the Best Trick and Best Costume contests to be held during the event.
Proud dog parents can enter their pup for our photo contest to win bragging rights and the title of "Cutest Pet" by filling out the registration form. Voting will begin on April 19th, and details can be found on the Honors College Facebook and Instagram. There you can find adorable photos of prime contenders like Foxtrot, Penny, Sancha, Rupert and Bandido von Haus — with contestants like these, there will certainly be some stiff competition come showtime!
