We encourage you to visit us on campus – this is the very best way to see if the Honors College is a good fit for you. We offer two great recruitment events for high-achieving students each year.
Spring Event - Honors College Discovery Day (Saturday, May 19, 2018)
High school juniors and sophomores are invited to our spring event, Honors College Discovery Day, which is designed to serve as an introduction to the Honors College and the University
of Arkansas campus. Students attending the event will learn about the benefits of
the Honors College, interact with faculty and staff representing departments that
routinely work with honors students, and learn what they can start doing this summer
to make themselves competitive for fellowship and scholarship applications. Reserve your spot for Discovery Day by completing the event's online registration form.
Fall Event - Honors College Convocation
High school juniors and seniors are invited to Honors College Convocation, which is a great way to learn more about us – you'll meet Honors College students and faculty, hear firsthand about student research and study abroad, and get the latest information on how to assemble a strong application for fellowships and scholarships. This year's Honors College Convocation is tentatively scheduled to take place on Monday, October 1, 2018.
Individual Campus Visits
Can't make Discovery Day or Convocation? No worries: contact the Admissions Office anytime to schedule a campus visit. When scheduling your visit to the University of Arkansas, please be sure to request a meeting with an Honors College representative in Gearhart Hall along with a tour of our residence hall for first-year honors students, Hotz Honors Hall.
Would you like more information on the University of Arkansas, the Honors College or a specific program? The Admissions Office mailing list is your one-stop shop for gathering all of the info you need. And of course, we're glad to visit with you anytime about the Honors College.
We look forward to meeting you!
