Angie Primm Coleman

--As assistant dean of finance, Angie Coleman serves as the senior finance administrator for the Honors College. Through financial accounting, budgeting, management, and reporting, she supports the strategic, efficient, and effective use of college fiscal resources.

Raised in rural Crawford County, Coleman attended Hendrix College and graduated with a B.A. in economics and business with an emphasis in accounting. Prior to joining the Honors College staff, she spent 10 years working for Ernst & Young (McLean, Virginia), DDF Consulting (Little Rock, Arkansas) and Bridgepoint Consulting (Austin, Texas) before settling back in Northwest Arkansas. After a hiatus to spend time focusing on her three children, she joined the University of Arkansas in 2014 first as the finance manager of The Sustainability Consortium, then as the director of accounting for the Walton College of Business in 2016 before stepping into her role at the Honors College in 2022.

Coleman enjoys living in downtown Fayetteville with her husband John and three children.  On the weekends you’ll find her reading on her front porch or running or hiking with her family and friends on one of the many trails in the region.
