Similar to a college fair, students and guests will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from each of the six academic colleges at the university, along with a variety of different UA campus offices. 

11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Opening Meeting for Finalists and Family Members/Guests - Verizon Ballroom, Arkansas Union

After welcomes from the chancellor of the university and the dean of the Honors College, the meeting will cover important logistics for the day. There will also be a panel of current fellows who will discuss their experiences at the university.

12:00 - 1:00 pm

Lunch for Finalists - Gearhart Hall

Lunch for Family Members/Guests - Arkansas Union Food Court

1:00 - 4:00 pm

Interviews for Finalists - Gearhart Hall, Bell Engineering, White Engineering Hall, and Old Main

During their free time, finalists can participate in optional tours, class visits, and honors experience sessions. A schedule will be available in the finalist folder given at check-in.

1:45 - 2:30 pm

Afternoon Meeting for Family Members/Guests - Verizon Ballroom, Arkansas Union

The meeting will feature presentations from important campus offices for fellows, including the Honors College Futures Hub, the Office of Study Abroad, and the Office of Nationally Competitive Awards. There will also be a discussion of the fellowship financial aid package.

2:45 - 4:00 pm 

Optional Tour of Campus for Family Members/Guests

This will be a general campus tour that includes a stop by our first-year honors residence hall, Hotz Hall.

Wrap-up Meeting for Finalists & Dismissal for the Day - Gearhart Hall First Floor Study Room
